West Coast Turf, formerly known as Mello Turf Ranch, was established in 1990, providing high-quality sod to California for over 30 years. West Coast Sod Lawn Turf Types

The West Coaster Tall Fescue has also provided its customers with grass that is tolerant to foot traffic, making for lawns across the state perfect for family fun and sports activities. West Coast Turf is also one of the only farms to provide the new and innovative Kurapia ground cover in sod form. Santa Ana Bermuda grass is another West Coast Turf gem, refined to have a shorter dormancy period and provide a green lawn longer throughout the year.

West Coast Turf for NFL Super Bowl
West Coast Turf supplied the NFL's Super Bowl 50 field sod, marking the eighth time West Coast Turf premiered their sod for an NFL Super Bowl. West Coast Turf's hybrid Bermuda grass and rye grass blend was grown for over eighteen months at their Livingston growing grounds before being harvested for Super Bowl 50. With 29 truck loads, 75,000 sq. ft. of sod was delivered 117 miles from Livingston to Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara where it was installed by West Coast Turf and NFL staff.

Hello Jonathan! Yes, of course, West Coast Turf works like a charm in your place. This sod prefers full sun but will tolerate light shade and recover from wear and tear. This sod is an excellent choice for locations with significant foot traffic, such as crowded places like the park. This sod is also disease resistant because of its outstanding capabilities.
