Tifway 419 Sports Turf
The Tifway 419 and Tifway 2, also referred to as Tiff 419 or Tif 2, are two similar blends that are quick recovering Bermudas. Their quick recovery is a major reason why they are used for sporting applications. The Tifway 419 is a dense hybrid Bermudagrass that will do really good in California conditions. As you can see in the freeze frame in our video of the Tifway 419 ratings, aside from shade tolerance, the Tifway 419 is a very tough grass.The Tifway 419 will repair very quickly to damage from golfing, soccer, or any other sports that this hybrid bermudagrass is used for.

We do have multiple types of Bermudagrass such as the Latitude 36 Bermuda grass and Celebration Bermudagrass that will work well for sports applucations. Prices vay depending on the type of bermudagrass. However, our Tifway 419 and Tifway are two of our most popular blends. Please also note, bermuda grass seed is unavailable for the Tifway 419 and other hybrid Bermudas. We also do not carry bermuda grass plugs.
