Our Fine Fescue Sod for Southern California is a fine-bladed fescue blend most often used for areas with heavier shade. Our Fine Fescue sod can be left to grow to about 12–18 inches or be maintained with regular mowing at a shorter height. When Fine Fescue sod is kept at a longer height, it creates a soft, meadow-like appearance; when kept mowed at a shorter height, our Fine Fescue sod also provides the common look of a traditional sod lawn or grass lawn.
