Fine Fescue Grass Information

Ridgeside Fine Fescue is a blend of Creeping Red Fescue, Chewing Fescue, and Hard Fescue. It can be left unmowed or mowed, depending on if you want that meadow-like appearance. Ideally, this sod is used on hillsides or areas that are hard to mow, having some erosion control. When fine fescue grass is properly maintained, it will thrive in either sun or shade, and it is a low-maintenance blend. It is ideal for minimal traffic areas and usually looks best during the cooler season of the year. It has good resistance to diseases as well!
